The map shows the basic shape and layout of the Green, its size may be gauged from the area of Peartree Churchyard (Jesus Chapel) which is one acre. The highest point is the picnic area which was formed when scattered rubbish from the dismantled railway was bulldozed into one heap and covered over.The west side (left hand on the map) of the Green is the lowest, around 15 feet above the high tide line.
